Factory training class space is limited and training classes fill very quickly. Training requests are requests only and will not guarantee acceptance. An email will be sent to the address submitted on this form indicating the status of your training request. If your selected class is full, a response will indicate as such and advise you of possible options. Once a class has reached capacity, a waiting list will be kept on file and filled with any cancelations on a first come / first service basis with names on the waiting list.

Class schedule overview
(Day 1) - Arrivals & Welcome Dinner
(Day 2) - Training Day, Iron Chef Competition / Awards / Prizes / Dinner
(Day 3) - Training ½ Day; Departures

All attendees are required to be in attendance on Day 1 evening for a welcome reception that begins at approximately 6:30. Class ends at approximately 2:00 PM on the final day of training. Departures should not be made any earlier than 4:30 PM on the final day. A more detailed schedule and travel instructions will be furnished upon acceptance into the class.

Travel & Transportation Information

All attendees are responsible for booking their own travel itineraries. Once you have been accepted into the class, you will be requested to secure your travel reservations and submit it to Southbend. Southbend DOES NOT book travel reservations for you.  There will be a shuttle bus that departs RDU at 4:45.  The shuttle bus will transport arriving guests to the hotel.  Any alternate form of transportation is the responsibility of the arriving guest (i.e: UBER / LYFT / Cab).  We recommend attempting to book a flight with an arrival time closest to 4:00 to minimize the wait time.

Hotel and Meal Accommodations

Southbend will handle all hotel reservations and accommodations for you. Southbend will pay for room and tax only at the below listed hotel. You do not need to make hotel reservations. A light breakfast is provided at the hotel daily. Southbend will provide all meal accommodations during the class days.
